It takes a few seconds longer to pull videos from the sync module storage, and that's about the difference i am experiencing without the subscription. You just have to make sure the connection is good between cameras and sync module. //@Anonymous: Subscription is not required, it is good if working, but weird bug/feature that the basic functionality including turning on the light will be gone if no connectivity.
